The Predictive Chennai seminar was delight to the eager learners. Not only from the chief presenter, but many others too. The organizing team, Team HAPPH'Y TN, along with huge band of volunteers, were on their toes for the entire 2 days and their happiness at the success of the event was evident, as were they destined.

Guest of Honor, Dr. V. Gnanaprakasam, formwe Vice-Chancellor, TANUVAS INDIA, was a memorable orator. His speech was most motivating, especially coming from a allopathic veterinary practitioner. And many wondered on his role in a Homeopathic seminar and he himself chose to clear the air on his presence.

The history goes to a time, when Dr. Gnanaprakasam had been bestowed with a granddaughter who was born premature and diagnosed with retinal detachment and ROP in one eye. The doctors had predicted very poor prognosis, and even early death. When he shared the situation with Dr. Murugan (who was also a relative), the latter suggested that he take help from Dr. Vijaykar, who was fortunately with him at the time of the phone call.

Dr. Gnanaprakasam, before sharing details of the case, made it clear to Dr. Vijakar that he did not believe in Homeopathy. Taking it his stride, Dr. Vijaykar, took up the case and today the girl has not outlived the initial predictions of the allopathic consultants and is well and successful in academics. Since then he has been indebted to Homeopathy and the mediator Dr. Prafull Vijaykar.

As I mentioned earlier, his entire session was so full of stories and complete attention from the audience. He shared his further experiences with Homeopathy, one being a time when a particular set of cattle under his supervision had developed Panting syndrome, a thyroid disorder after foot and mouth disease. There was nothing that could be done and one of his PG students quietly requested that he be allowed to prescribe Homeopathy, considering that there was no conservative treatment that was possible given the situation. And voila, he succeeded. And Dr. Gnanprakasam was slowly becoming convinced of the benefits of Homeopathy.

In a similar scenario, the renowned Dr had been called in person by a minister to handle a seemingly grave situation, where more than a thousand cattle had come down Rinderpest aka cattle plague, a fatal and helpless condition. Once Dr. Gnanaprakasam had confirmed the diagnosis, the minister who had encountered a similiar outbreak in his term before, advised that all cattle be sent back to the villages. A PhD student who had accompanied the Dr bravely requested that he be allowed to try Homeopathy, considering that there was no other option left in the conventional method. The minister hesitated at first and agreed after Dr. expressed his faith in the suggestion. And what do you think happened? Yes, the cattle survived and the minister later expressed how good it would have been, had he known of this alternative while he was in power.

If you think he was done motivating us and showing us the miracles of our own medicine, wait until you hear this out. He went on to share how to ace it. Commending Dr. Vijaykar for his keen acumen, his knowledge of the human body, its genetics and the expertise, he urged the audience to develop a similar eye for the problem to be cured. Be like Columbus, he had said.
